For the busiest and most competitive holiday seasons in the floral industry – Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day – 1-800-Flowers wanted to create standout promotions that would generate awareness as well as powerful commerce results.
Pairing Facebook Ads, iAds, and affiliate marketing with a variety of desirable rewards including iTunes, Facebook Credits, and Zynga game currencies, 1-800-Flowers worked with Ifeelgoods to design powerful promotional experiences for the holidays.
The Ifeelgoods technology provided the means to instantly and securely deliver the rewards as consumers made their purchases, and also allowed 1-800-Flowers to iterate and optimize their campaigns to test different offer combinations.
Messaging was integrated into the brand website, promoted through Facebook Sponsored Stories, and shared through email campaigns and social posts.
Over 15,000 orders were generated during the busiest holiday season. The fan base on the 1-800-Flowers Facebook page doubled during the campaign.
