Job Requirements

The Product Management team works closely with internal & external business partners to understand customer needs and with engineers & designers to guide products from conception to launch. Responsibilities

Accounting degree or experience in accounting required. Must be proficient in the use of Quickbooks and the Microsoft Office products (word, access, excel and publisher).

Position Summary:

Assist with the daily needs of company’s employees in the areas of :  Office management,  files organization and maintenance, administrative assistance to CEO/COO, light HR, and Accounting tasks. A thorough, detailed, organized and conscientious professional work style is essential with willingness to learn and adapt in a highly dynamic tech start-up environment.

Major Responsibilities:

-               Accounting : General Ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations and month end close process, Accounts Payable – data entry, check processing, daily calls with vendors, Purchase Orders – manage purchase request policy, create and issue PO’s, Bank & Account Reconciliations, Payroll Accounting, Employee Expense Reports, Partner and Ad Hoc Reporting, Various cost analysis, entry into QuickBooks accounting software for payables and customer invoicing, vendor and employee reimbursement payments, bank and credit card statement reconciliations and other assistance as required.

-              Administrative Management –  preparing and processing expense reports, general arrangements for meetings and other company events. Schedule and support hiring interviews, maintain files of all legal documents, contracts and NDA’s paperwork, prepare and handle in and outgoing mailings/packages, get approvals on documents as needed, assist in preparation of  meeting presentations and provide support on other business needs such as data entry, file documents, forward voicemails and make calls, scan documents, photocopy and fax.

-              HR – Provide new hires their new hire paperwork in the absence of HR Consultant, ensuring completeness and accuracy, coordinate new hire set-up, light HR filing and fielding basic HR related questions from staff when needed.

-              Office/Facility Management – Coordinate and purchase supplies, assist in arranging for outside services as needed and work with landlord as needed to maintain a neat and orderly overall office environment; manage other facility related functions as required.

Basic requirements/qualifications:
